Partnerships For Change began visiting Burma and monks, promoting monk mobilization and providing humanitarian support in 2001. In 2008, Christian shifted his focus full time toward humanitarian efforts assisting the monks and the Burmese people realize their dream of freedom. Christian Armstrong with vision and perseverance joins this effort and brings his signficant and strategic ties to the Burmese. The Free Burma Project was able to provide immediate direct assistance to the Burmese immediately following Cyclone Nardis. Christian and the FBP was one of the earliest responders as the Myanamar government delayed and prevented aid from reaching its own citizens. He also is also been able to heroiclly rescue monks fleeing from torture and repression to safety in the border zone between Burma and Thailand.
